February sees the highlight of Fontwell's racing calendar with the Grade Two National Spirit Hurdle, a revered race that once prepped champions for the Champion Hurdle but now aligns more with prep for the Stayers' Hurdle. Named after the legendary National Spirit, a dual Champion Hurdle victor of the 1940s.
