Locally referred to as 'Pitchcroft', Worcester Racecourse is nestled in the West Midlands, about half an hour's drive south from Birmingham.

Along with Bath , Fflos Las , Newcastle , Hereford Worcester Racecourse, among eleven others, is under the management of the Arena Racing Company.

With a heritage tracing back to 1718, Worcester Racecourse has shifted from hosting flat races up to 1966 and is now exclusively dedicated to National Hunt events.

Racing events are held throughout the more temperate summer months to avoid the risk of floods in winter, as the course is adjacent to the River Severn.
