Since its inception in 1947, Corbett Bookmakers has remained under the Corbett family's ownership. Nicky and Michael, two key directors, manage this Welsh-based business, the largest independent betting company in the region. The company reported a revenue of £171 million for the fiscal year ending in March 2019 and is recognized as a fourth-generation family business, using the tagline 'The Sports Fans Sportsbook since 1937'.
Employing approximately 200 people, Corbett Bookmakers manages a widespread network of betting shops across North Wales, Cheshire, and Yorkshire. The firm also positions betting pitches at prominent UK racecourses, such as Cheltenham, Aintree, and York, and they run an online betting site under Corbettsports.com, extending their technical services to other independent bookmakers. Chisholm Bookmakers as a white-label service.
Corbettsports.com, launched in 2006, is no longer operational. Nonetheless, Corbett Bookmakers continues its betting services through their network of 37 physical locations scattered throughout the UK. A complete list of these locations is provided below.
