Player Alert: Conor Bradley Card Prediction
In a move set to elevate their visibility among racing enthusiasts, two leading UK bookmakers have inked substantial sponsorship agreements.
On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, Coral, a prominent UK bookmaker, revealed its partnership to serve as the official fixed-odds betting partner for the Qatar Goodwood Festival. Coinciding with this announcement, competitor SkyBet secured its role as the principal sponsor for 12 races held throughout August. York Racecourse Entain-owned brand, with nearly a century of history, is set to sponsor ten races, including the Coral Golden Mile and the Coral Stewards Cup during the upcoming five-day Goodwood Festival starting Tuesday. This three-year sponsorship deal succeeds the one held by Unibet from 2019 to 2021.
Coral Coral is not alone in pursuing strategic partnerships, as SkyBet has also renewed its collaboration with York Racecourse, extending their agreement through 2028. Goodwood Racecourse Based in Leeds, this online bookmaker's new deal is estimated at £2.7 million annually, allowing it to sponsor 12 different races over four racedays in August at York Racecourse. Sky Bet will also sponsor the entire card for the Sky Bet York Stakes day in July and two Sky Bet Race to the Ebor contests.
The financial terms represent a 23% increase from the previous arrangement in 2018, ensuring that the Sky Bet Ebor maintains its status as Britain's wealthiest flat handicap, while the Group 2 Sky Bet City of York Stakes becomes Britain's premier racecourse-funded Group 2 race.
Furthermore, with a prize pool of £250,000, the Sky Bet Lowther on Thursday is now the country's leading juvenile fillies Group 2, and the Sky Bet Nursery on Wednesday takes the title as Britain's top-earning race of its category, offering £100,000.
The continued partnership between these two institutions will focus on the established Sky Bet Ebor Community Fund, earmarked at £33,000 for local charitable endeavors.
Community organizations and charities submitted projects for the fund, with 22 initiatives progressing to the final rounds.
Each project is paired with a runner competing in the Sky Bet Ebor on Saturday, August 20, where the cause associated with the winning horse will receive a £20,000 donation. Other participating projects will receive contributions based on their horse’s placement.
